Hydrocarbons are organic compounds consisting of carbon and hydrogen. Most types of hydrocarbons are found in petroleum. Hydrocarbons are divided into the main groups of aliphatic and aromatic. For producing hydrocarbons, after separating salts and acids from petroleum, the hydrocarbon residue would be refined in the heavy and light hydrocarbon groups. The Refining process is taking place through blow-by-blow distillation of crude oil. Generally, light hydrocarbons are used as gasoline fuel, whereas heavy hydrocarbons are a substitute for D2.
